Daniel Hernandez’s Psychedelic Kidnap Experience is a life affirming immersive theatre ritual for one person. The voyager is ‘Kidnapped’ and enters a dream world of psychedelic visions, smells, sensations, bodies, shadows, moments of hilarity, and epiphany. The Kidnapped person having agreed to be blindfolded goes with one of their 'spirit guides', courageously surrenders and is primed for the acts that will follow; in which they experience themselves as an actor at the centre of a dream sequence. Psychedelic Kidnap Experience is devised as a psychomagic act through which the participants comes face to face with themselves and makes a positive affirmation through the acts they engage in. Each person's individual experience lasts 5 minutes, after which we bring in the next voyager, kidnapping as many people as possible for the duration of the performance.
